Things to know:
We will be providing and using water-based spray paint outdoors in a well-ventilated private space. Water-based spray paint is much lower in VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) compared to regular spray paint.
We will be providing NIOSH N95 masks for the kids. These will only protect kids from paint particles, but not VOC's, which is why this class is held outdoors, and will be strictly water-based spray paint.
If you wish to provide your child with a proper respirator, please make sure that it is the correct size. Brands like 3M do not make kids sized respirators.
We will also be providing safety glasses, and gloves.
You must sign the waiver provided to acknowledge these statements above before your child can participate with us.
*Note - This is an in store only option. All workshop related events take place at 389 Spadina Ave.
*Spray paint supplies will be provided for the kids workshop
Please remember to dress your child in clothing appropriate for spray painting. There may be over spray and some minor mess during the outdoor Portion of the workshop
We will also be giving each Child who attends the workshop a custom sticker pack that includes Toronto Collective stickers and a stack of Blank stickers for your child to create at home. Along with a marker to motivate them to continue the energy we hope this class will bring them
